Main Line mansion that cost $35 million to build sells for $9.26 million
A 32-acre estate with a mansion in Gladwyne, a town on suburban Philadelphia's high-end Main Line, recently sold for $9.26 million. The property at 100 Maplehill Road was developed by Andrew Barroway, the managing partner of hedge fund Merion Investment Management and a minority owner of the NHL's Arizona Coyotes. Barroway bought the land for $12 million in 2006 and spent another $23 million to construct the 13,000-square-foot mansion.October 19, 2022

Danielle Oliveira, a sergeant with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office of Public Integrity and Accountability, was arrested in North Wildwood last month for allegedly attempting to return to Kennan's Irish Pub multiple times after she had been asked to leave the Jersey Shore bar. Bucks County property connected to notorious 2017 murders listed for sale
A Solebury Township home connected to the 2017 murders of four young men has been listed for sale at a price of $700,000. The homicide investigation drew national attention as investigators searched for the missing victims, who had been killed and buried on a nearby farm. Cosmo DiNardo, whose parents owned the two properties, confessed to the murders and is serving life in prison. Dirt bike rider wanted for throwing brick at police SUV in Northern Liberties
Philadelphia police are searching for a dirt bike ride who smashed the windshield of a PPD vehicle in Northern Liberties on Sunday night. The incident happened at the Lukoil gas station at Front Street and Delaware Avenue, where a group of ATV and dirt bike riders had stopped. When police attempted to confiscate a dirt bike that had been reported stolen out of New Jersey, several of the ATV and dirt bike riders threw objects at officers, including bottles and bricks, police said.October 18, 2022

Yuengling will soon sell beer in three more states as expansion across U.S. continues
Yuengling is expanding its beer to Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma as part of its partnership with Molson Coors Beer Companies. Fourth suspect, a 15-year-old fugitive, identified in Roxborough High School shooting
Philadelphia police identified 15-year-old Troy Fletcher as the fourth of six suspects wanted in connection to the Sept. 27 shooting at Roxborough High School, which killed 14-year-old Nicholas Elizalde and injured four other teens. Authorities have arrested two suspects and have identified two others, while another two have not yet been named. The shooting happened after a high school football scrimmage and is believed to have been a targeted ambush on a 17-year-old boy who was injured in the attack.October 14, 2022

Eagles add two reverse vending machines to incentivize recycling at the Linc
The Philadelphia Eagles have added two reverse vending machines to Lincoln Financial Field, becoming the first NFL team to introduce the emerging technology. Located in the concourse outside sections 123 and 138, the machines can be used to dispose of cans, plastic bottles and plastic cups by scanning a QR code. Wawa is closing its Center City store locations at 12th and Market streets and 19th and Market Streets, citing safety and security issues that have created operational challenges for the convenience store chain in Philadelphia.
