Keith Urban performs at the 2018 CMA Music Fest at Nissan Stadium on June 9, 2018 in Nashville.

Grammy-winning country rock star Keith Urban will perform at Lincoln Financial Field later this month when the Philadelphia Flyers take on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL's Stadium Series game.

The NHL announced Thursday that Urban will play during the first intermission of the Feb. 23 matchup.

The game begins at 8 p.m. on NBC and Urban's performance will be televised.

Coming off his chart-topping 2018 album "Graffiti U," Urban is currently wrapping up the Australian leg of his world tour.

Last year, Urban made headlines locally when a retired New Jersey teacher, recognizing him at Wawa, paid his bill when Urban had no money on him.

While the Flyers have endured a brutal season and high-level organizational changes, the team has picked up steam and is riding an eight-game winning streak into Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Kings.

Tickets for the Stadium Series game remain available on Ticketmaster and StubHub.
