Eagles player review: Arryn Siposs edition

During the offseason, we'll be taking a look at a handful of players who are either new to the Philadelphia Eagles, or are already with the team but we perhaps don't know a lot about them just yet. Because it's Easter and many of you won't be reading today anyway, we'll look at the punter the Eagles signed to a futures contract a few months ago, Arryn Siposs.

NFC East 2021 free agency grades: Philadelphia Eagles edition

The Philadelphia Eagles signed a couple of safeties, they added a veteran backup QB on a strange deal, and they'll probably still add a Band-Aid corner, or maybe a linebacker. Whatever. This free agency period wasn't about all of that. It was more about facing the music after a three straight years of front office mismanagement.

NFC East 2021 free agency grades: New York Giants edition

On the one hand, the Giants' free agency splurge came at least one year too early, when the team still has major concerns at quarterback and along their offensive line. On the other hand, the Giants are tied for the worst record in the NFL over the last four years, at 18-46 (0.281), with four straight double-digit loss season. Maybe just putting something watchable on the field is worth overpaying for some players?

A top three wide receiver should be available to the Eagles at pick 12

Before the Philadelphia Eagles traded back from pick No. 6 to pick No. 12, mock drafts commonly had them picking a wide receiver, whether that be LSU's Ja'Marr Chase, or either of the two Alabama receivers, DeVonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle. Now that they have moved back to pick 12, there's a pretty good chance that at least one of those three receivers will still be available.
