A tractor-trailer cab plummeted into the Delaware River early Friday morning after it crashed into a barrier on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. The tractor has been located, but search and rescue crews are still looking for the driver and any occupants.

About 50 Environmental Protection Agency employees gathered outside the agency's Philadelphia office Wednesday to protest the suspensions of 144 workers who signed a letter criticizing the EPA's direction under the Trump administration. At least seven of the workers who were put on administrative leave are from the area.

The Da Vinci Art Alliance board has given its executive director until Aug. 15 to raise $120,000 to make up for a financial shortfall after the loss of federal grants have compounded years of funding woes. The Queen Village institution that was founded in 1931 could be forced to cut all paid employees, reduce programming or even close.

Penn Museum employees have unanimously authorized a strike, demanding higher salaries and claiming the university has dragged its feet in contract negotiations. The union group, which is part of the same labor federation as Philly's municipal workers who are currently on strike, saw its contract expire at the end of June and has threatened action as early as Wednesday if terms are not met.

A skydiving plane carrying 15 people crashed shortly after departing Cross Keys Airport in Gloucester County on Wednesday evening. Eleven people were taken to Cooper University Hospital; three are in critical condition. Three others were taken to Inspira Health for treatment. One person declined medical treatment at the crash scene.
