Report: Doug Pederson drawing interest as Seahawks offensive coordinator

If Doug Pederson cannot find a head coaching job and he is not interested in sitting out for a year, the next best thing would be to land an offensive coordinator job with a team that has a defensive-minded head coach, where he can run the offense.

Handing out 10 awards from Jeffrey Lurie's delusional press conference

On Monday, after the Philadelphia Eagles fired Doug Pederson, Jeffrey Lurie spoke for the first time in a long time, and you know things are bad when nobody asked him about Kelly green jerseys. Lurie's presser only added to the concerns surrounding this team, and the owner's accountability for some, but not others. And so, since a lot of ground was covered (even if I'm a little late on this), let's hand out 10 awards.

Report: Eagles could be losing OL coach Jeff Stoutland to Alabama

Stoutland has been with the team since 2013, and he is an assistant that the Eagles would be highly likely to want to retain, no matter who they ultimately hire as their new head coach. During the Eagles' Super Bowl run in 2017, it's not often credited as such, but the offensive line was the best performing unit on the team. Report: Eagles completed interview with Panthers OC Joe Brady for vacant HC job

Joe Brady's two notable coaching jobs were in 2020 with the Panthers as their OC, and as LSU's passing game coordinator & wide receivers coach in 2019, when LSU rolled to the CFB National Championship, largely on the strength of their passing game.

Report: Eagles to interview Patriots LB coach Jerod Mayo for vacant HC job

As a coach, Jerod Mayo only has two years of experience. His official title with the Patriots is "inside linebackers coach," which doesn't sound like much, but his role was bigger than that title would indicate.

Report: Eagles to interview Buccaneers DC Todd Bowles for vacant HC job

In 2020, the Buccaneers had the best run defense in the NFL under Todd Bowles. They were No. 1 in opposing rushing attempts, rushing yards, rushing TDs, and yards per rush. In that sense, his "stop the run first" style of defense is similar to the approach we have seen over the years from Jim Schwartz.

Report: Eagles to interview Titans OC Arthur Smith for vacant HC job

With a defensive-minded head coach in Mike Vrabel, Arthur Smith was afforded the opportunity to run the show offensively for Tennessee, and in the two years he has been their offensive coordinator, the Titans have gotten good results.
