Nick Piccone is a Pro Wrestling Contributor for PhillyVoice.com. Nick was the founder of the popular sports and pro wrestling blog Bleed Philly before joining Philly Influencer as Editor and Writer in 2015. He's hosted a weekly pro wrestling podcast with Vaughn Johnson, The Straight Shooters, since 2015. Nick also does editing, writing, and audio engineering for the only sports betting radio station in Philadelphia, Fox Sports Radio The Gambler. Nick graduated from nearby Neumann University after growing up in south Philadelphia and southern New Jersey. His family history is entrenched in Philadelphia culture, as Nick's great aunt Dolly's house was used as Rocky's and Adrian's new home in Rocky II. WWE Raw roundup: Reigns rules as No. 1 contender

Coming off the heels of a fantastic Hell in a Cell event, the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA was the host for WWE’s Raw on Monday night, and this was actually a really good show. The storylines advanced and made sense, the in-ring action was good, and the main event actually meant something. It’s been a long, long time since we had a main event on Raw that felt that way.

WWE Hell in a Cell: Wyatt Family isn’t finished with Undertaker

The Staples Center in Los Angeles went to hell and back on Sunday night. With two Hell in a Cell matches on tap that were promised to end their respective feuds, a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match along with four other title matches, WWE was looking to end October on a high note after a couple subpar months after SummerSlam.

The final stop on the highway to Hell in a Cell on Sunday night was in Austin, TX for SmackDown on Thursday night. The Frank Erwin Center was home to the last WWE show before Sunday’s pay-per-view, and Corporate Kane was back in charge after being suspended on Monday night. Kane didn’t waste any time throwing his corporate weight around.

WWE Hell in a Cell preview: The final battle in hell for Lesnar and Undertaker

Los Angeles missed out on SummerSlam this year, and they’ll miss out on SummerSlam next year. The next best thing they’ll get? Sunday’s apropos named Hell in a Cell pay-per-view that will feature what’s being labeled as the final battle between the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker inside the Hell in a Cell at the Staples Center. I’m eagerly anticipating the match because I think the spectacle will be better than their last Hell in a Cell match, and with the feud drawing to a close, a big angle should take place to move both men along to their next storyline.
