Mailbag: Could the Eagles trade up from Round 2 into Round 1?

In our Eagles chat on Thursday, there were a lot of questions that we could not get to in time or other questions we did answer but could use more color. And so, let's do a mailbag post to answer some of the overflow, as well as some commonly asked questions on Twitter and via email.

Random notes: Jim Schwartz, Nate Sudfeld, and the Eagles' easy 2021 schedule

There were a few things worth noting this week related to the Philadelphia Eagles that probably weren't worth their own articles, so we'll just round them up and cover them here. Good? Good.

Eagles 2021 draft: Trade up, trade back, or stay put at pick No. 12?

The Philadelphia Eagles tend to move around in the first round more than most teams. In fact, as you're all well aware, they already have this year. They traded the No. 6 overall pick in this draft for the No. 12 overall pick, plus a first-round pick in 2022. Now that they're sitting at pick No. 12, could they move again?

Podcast: We draft the Eagles' most likely options with their first round pick

See who we selected as our most likely Eagles to be picked in Round 1 this year in the latest episode of BGN Radio.

Eagles agree to terms with former Vikings LB Eric Wilson

New Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon is a Mike Zimmer disciple, which means that there's a decent bet that Eagles linebackers are going to get more opportunities as blitzers. There's also speculation that Gannon will run a lot of Cover-2, which means that those linebackers better also be able to play zone coverage. Wilson filled up the stat sheet in both areas last season, as he had 3 INTs, 8 pass breakups, 3 sacks, and 9 QB hits.
