The NFL trade deadline has come and gone, and the Philadelphia Eagles were neither buyers nor sellers. In fact, the NFL as a whole was quiet, as there were only seven players moved in the last three days, with no blockbuster deals.

We'll hold off eulogizing the Cowboys until after their Week 9 loss to the Steelers.

Are power rankings completely dumb and meaningless? Yes. Yes, they are. However, personally speaking, whenever I see them, I click. And now that I've sucked you in with promises of many power rankings, you'll read it and like it.

In front of a national audience on Sunday Night Football, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys played something that sort of resembled football. The Philadelphia Eagles are not a good football team. Fortunately for them, neither are any of the other teams in the NFC East, as the Birds are currently leading the division at 2-4-1. And so, we'll continue on plotting the ideal outcomes for other games around the league as if the Eagles have a chance to contend this season, even though, again, they aren't good.

The Philadelphia Eagles, for the first time in a long time, are facing a team that has arguably worse cumulative injuries than themselves in the Dallas Cowboys, who have not handled their injury adversity well, to say the least.
